Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Royal Oak, MI seeks a Medical Laboratory Technician II for a night shift (10:00 PM–7:00 AM). You will perform and report on high-complexity analyses and supporting tests under supervision, ensuring QC and SOP adherence.

The role requires an Associate degree in Laboratory Science or Medical Technology and 3+ years of high-complexity experience; a BS in chemistry/biology is preferred. ASCP certification is a plus. Night differential may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years high complexity testing in clinical laboratory experience for those with BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology.
• Previously qualified as a Technologist under 42 CFR 493. 1433 published in March 14, 1990.
• Three (3) to six (6) years high complexity testing in clinical laboratory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and report on assigned analytical tests per SOPs with QC requirements.
• May perform some moderate/high complexity testing with on-site training and oversight.
• Adhere to lab policies for specimen handling, processing, test analysis, and record-keeping.
