Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or equivalent.
Registered or registry eligible with ASCP, NCA, AMT, or CSMLS within 12 months of hire.
6 months to 1 year of experience as a medical laboratory technologist or clinical laboratory scientist in an acute care facility.
Equivalency evaluation required for non-US trained personnel (ECE, NACES, or AICE within 30 days of hire).
Licensure as required by the State.

Responsibilities

Perform quantitative and qualitative laboratory tests on patient specimens.
Analyze test results, prepare samples, and maintain accurate records.
Prepare and validate solutions, reagents, media stains, and other testing materials.
Process and test all types of laboratory specimens; review and report lab results.
