Banner Health's Sonora Quest Laboratories in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform waived and non-waived tests under CLIA '88 guidelines, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

You'll collaborate with department leadership, participate in quality improvement, manage specimens, and contribute to patient care while maintaining meticulous records and safety standards.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in MLS/medical technology or related field with MLS or categorical certification.
• Foreign educated candidates must provide credential evaluation (IERF) for eligibility.
• A bachelor’s degree with one year in a specialty may be required for certain disciplines.
• Demonstrated competency in phlebotomy in applicable departments.
• CAP minimum qualifications for technical consultant may apply.

• Perform testing accurately and in a timely manner per policy and performance standards.
• Recognize and verify abnormal patient and QC results; document deviations.
• Monitor inventory and contribute to cost control and financial data for the department.
• Participate in training, committees, and department projects; provide leadership in absence of on-site leads.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers; maintain professional documentation.
• May collect, receive, and process patient samples with correct ID and specimen integrity.
