Job summary

Banner Health is hiring a Clinical Lab Assistant for the Banner Gateway location in Gilbert, AZ. The night shift runs 8pm to 6:30am, Wednesday through Saturday, with duties including specimen collection, receipt, processing, and assisting with moderate testing under supervision.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and phlebotomy/CLA certification; preferred are prior lab experience and completion of a lab assistant program. Competitive pay starts at $19/hr.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 18+ if performing phlebotomy.
• Phlebotomy/CLA certification as defined by state regulations.
• Preferred: previous clinical laboratory experience.
• Preferred: completion of a laboratory assistant program.

Responsibilities

• Process and prepare patient samples, including collection and specimen identification.
• Assist with waived and moderate complexity testing under supervision.
• Support QC, inventory, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Provide courteous, accurate communication with internal and external customers.
