Roper St. Francis Healthcare in Charleston, SC is seeking a Medical Technologist/MT to perform routine and special diagnostic procedures, phlebotomy, and accessioning under established policies.

You will assist the Laboratory Supervisor with technical and administrative tasks, ensuring accurate test results and quality standards. Responsibilities include testing procedures, instrument operation, QC, data review, and effective communication with physicians and nursing staff.

Competenze

• BS in medical technology or related required
• ASCP/NC or AMT route accepted in lieu of degree
• Phlebotomy certification preferred

Mansioni

• Perform routine and special diagnostic procedures following established standards
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments; perform QC and preventive maintenance
• Handle Cerner/STAR LIS for ordering, receiving, and reporting tests
• Ensure patient confidentiality and data integrity
• Communicate results and issues with pathologists, physicians, and staff
