Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of a Clinical Laboratory Science program or equivalent per CLIA high complexity testing requirements.
• Experience: Clinical laboratory experience.
• Additional Requirements: Current nationally recognized certification (ASCP or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Prepares clear, technically sound reports of test results across chemistry, urinalysis, hematology, and coagulation.
• Participates in evaluation/development of new procedures, instrumentation, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains professional competency by staying current with literature and new developments in medical technology.
• Performs standard, complex and specialized patient testing and quality control testing and plans techniques accordingly.
• Troubleshoots instrument malfunctions and ensures safe, continuous operation.
