Qualifications

• Graduate of a Clinical Laboratory Science program from an accredited institution or equivalent
• Current nationally recognized certification (ASCP or equivalent) is required
• Clinical laboratory experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepares clear, accurate reports of test results and examinations to aid patient treatment decisions.
• Performs full range of chemical, hematologic, immunologic, and coagulation testing as related to core lab function.
• Maintains professional competency and stays updated on literature and new developments in medical technology.
• Participates in standard, complex and specialized patient testing and quality control testing of samples.
• Troubleshoots instrument issues and ensures proper operation and calibration.
• Assists peers with workloads and performs miscellaneous duties as requested
