Accurate Courier Services in Cincinnati is seeking a reliable Dispatcher to join our fast-paced team. You will coordinate drivers, monitor on-demand deliveries, and respond quickly when issues arise, ensuring timely medical courier services to healthcare partners.

This on-site role requires strong communication, calm decision-making, and attention to detail as schedules evolve. Full-time, shift 10pm-6am, with weekend availability and overtime as needed; starting pay $20 per hour depending on

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 year dispatch/logistics or similar experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to make real-time decisions and solve problems.
• Ability to manage multiple drivers and orders.
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with computers and learning new software.
• Basic Microsoft Excel knowledge.
• Dependable with punctuality and attendance.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage active on-demand orders and routed deliveries
• Assign orders to drivers based on location, availability, timing, and delivery requirements
• Communicate with drivers about assignments, delays, pickups, deliveries, and issues
• Monitor routes for delays or problems
• Identify issues early and take action to keep deliveries on track
• Complete QA and service-recovery tasks as assigned
• Investigate delivery issues and gather information to resolve them
• Coordinate with Operations when escalation is needed
• Maintain accurate driver and delivery records
• Answer incoming calls and assist clients and drivers
• Follow procedures and use good judgment in unexpected situations
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, drivers, and coworkers
