Qualifications

• Professional nursing knowledge from a two-year program.
• Current NYS RN license and BLS certification.
• ACLS and PALS/TNCC within required timeframes.
• Competent in patient assessment and care planning.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR).

Responsibilities

• Collect patient health data with input from patient, family, and care team.
• Perform initial assessment based on patient presentation.
• Document nursing components of the Admission Assessment.
• Develop and implement a care plan with interdisciplinary team.
• Provide patient and family education; assist with discharge planning.
• Maintain safety and continuously monitor patient progress.
