Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) at ProMedica is the core of our world-class patient care team. You provide patient-centered care with sensitivity and respect for diverse experiences to improve health outcomes for our patients and communities we serve.

As the coordinator of a patient’s plan of care, you will interact with patients, families and the health care team through open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making.

Qualifications

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR training. Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units.
• The RN in Ohio must complete twenty-four contact hours of continuing education during licensure period, with at least 1 hour related to Chapter 4723 of the Ohio nurse practice code and rules.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care plans with patients, families and the health care team.
• Assess and formulate nursing diagnoses; plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Collaborate with fellow nurses and support staff to achieve patient care goals.
• Strive to improve patient care, work environment and staff satisfaction.
