Job summary

Meats By Linz seeks a motivated Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in its Hammond meat processing facility. You will lead production staff, ensure product quality and food safety, and support a smooth workflow across the production process.

The role requires hands-on leadership in a refrigerated environment and a focus on meeting quality standards, with opportunities to drive process improvements and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–5 years supervisory experience in meat processing or related production environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of USDA regulations, GMPs, and HACCP practices preferred.
• Ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, refrigerated production environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production activities within meat processing, packaging, and distribution operations.
• Ensure production goals, quality standards, and customer specifications are met.
• Monitor workflow and staffing to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
• Enforce USDA regulations, GMPs, HACCP, and food safety standards.
• Train, coach, and support production employees while promoting accountability and teamwork.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Shipping, Maintenance, and other departments to support operational needs.
