Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Night Shift Production Supervisor for a meat processing facility near Peru, IN. You will oversee all night operations, drive safety, quality, and efficiency, and lead a team of production associates to meet daily targets.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in supervisory roles within USDA-regulated food manufacturing or meat processing, strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, and are comfortable overnight and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; higher degree preferred.
• Experience supervising teams in manufacturing, food processing, or meat processing.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, GMPs, HACCP, and USDA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise night shift production activities to meet targets.
• Lead and develop a team of production associates.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, GMP, HACCP, USDA policies.
• Monitor performance, labor utilization, yields, downtime, waste reduction.
• Conduct shift start-up meetings on goals, safety, priorities.
• Collaborate with QA, Maintenance, Sanitation, and Operations teams.
• Address production, quality, safety, and employee concerns promptly.
• Maintain production records, staffing reports, and metrics.
• Drive continuous improvement for productivity and cost reduction.
• Ensure staffing levels and support training.
