Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a guard/loader role focused on safe operation of package handling equipment and pallet movement. Candidates will assist with pallet buildup and breakdown of heavyweight freight and liaise with ULD repair vendors as needed.

Additional duties may be assigned. The position requires physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in various weather conditions, and pass a drug screen. Valid driver's license is required for on-site operations.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level.
• Walk/stand for designated work hours and operate in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in a noisy operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely for movement of packages/doccuments/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assist in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serve as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor, as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
