Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a part-time material handler to operate equipment safely for moving packages and heavyweight freight. The role includes assisting with pallet buildup/breakdown and acting as a liaison with the ULD repair vendor as needed.

Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs, walk/stand for long periods, and navigate in a noisy environment. A valid driver's license and drug screening are required for this position.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level without assistance.
• Able to walk/stand for designated hours and bend/squat as required.
• Able to maneuver packages above shoulder level and use equipment for heavy freight.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and efficient operation of equipment for moving packages, documents, heavyweight freight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assist in buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serve as liaison between FedEx and ULD repair vendor as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
