Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking personnel in Kansas City to safely and efficiently operate equipment for moving packages and pallets. The role includes loading/unloading and assisting with heavyweight freight, with liaison duties to an ULD repair vendor as needed.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs from ground to chest level and maneuver heavier packages with equipment or assistance.
• Able to walk/stand for designated work hours and bend/squat as needed.
• Able to communicate effectively in a noisy operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for movement of packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assists in the buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight.
• Serves as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor, as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
