Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a worker for safe operation of equipment used to move packages and heavy freight. The role includes assisting with pallet buildup/breakdown and serving as liaison with the ULD repair vendor.

You must be able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance and to walk, stand, bend, squat, and maneuver heavy packages in various spaces. A drug screen and background check are required; a valid driver's license is also needed.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance from the ground to chest level.
• Able to walk and stand for designated work hours.
• Able to climb stairs and ladders if required at work location.
• Ability to communicate both timely and effectively in a noisy operations environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for the movement of packages/documents/heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs.
• Assists in the buildup/breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight and acts as liaison with ULD repair vendor.
