Job summary

Mt. Vernon, OH (Novolex Brand Burrows Packaging) is seeking a Material Handler to move, store, and manage materials safely to support production and distribution.

The position offers a starting pay rate of $22.61/hour for the 3rd shift (11:00pm–7:00am, Monday to Friday). Responsibilities include receiving finished products, operating forklifts, stocking lines, and keeping the warehouse organized and compliant with safety rules.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.

• Training courses as determined by management.

Responsibilities

• Receive finished products.
• Safely operate material handling equipment including forklifts/pallet movers.
• Support materials handling for production materials.
• Monitor lines and supply materials (raw materials, boxes, poly bags, pallets) as needed.
• Interact with machine operators daily to anticipate needs.
• Maintain orderly and organized warehouse.
• Develop, revise, and review documentation for materials activities.
• Weigh pallets and scrap when applicable.
• Unload/load trucks or stage trucks as directed by supervisor.
• Inspect finished pallets and distribute materials.
