Job summary

Novolex, Burrows Packaging, a Novolex Brand, is hiring a Material Handler in Mt. Vernon, OH. The role moves, stores, and manages materials to support production and distribution. Starting pay is $22.61 per hour, with a 3rd shift from 11:00pm to 7:00am, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities include receiving finished products, operating forklifts, stocking materials, maintaining a tidy warehouse, and documenting materials activities. Pre-employment background and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen.
• Work overtime as required.
• Commitment to stay safe and to continue to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Receive finished products.
• Safely operate forklifts and pallet movers.
• Support materials handling for production materials.
• Daily monitor all lines and supply materials for the shift.
• Interact with machine operators daily to anticipate needs.
• Maintain an orderly and organized warehouse.
• Develop, revise, and review documentation for materials activities.
• Weigh pallets and scrap when applicable.
• Unload/load trucks or stage trucks per supervisor.
• Examine finished pallets before pickup and distribute materials.
