Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Material Handler to oversee material stock levels on the production floor. The role includes unloading, storing, and supplying raw materials, plus ensuring safe forklift operation during the 7:00pm–7:00am shift.

Responsibilities include documenting receipts, moving materials, maintaining equipment, and coordinating with shipping. Candidates with 1–2 years of material handling experience and forklift certification (preferred) are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Requires basic math and written/verbal communication.
• Basic computer skills and ability to work independently.
• 1–2 years material handling experience in a fast-paced setting; forklift cert preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and document raw materials; submit paperwork to shipping.
• Move materials on production floor and supply lines as needed.
• Inspect forklift safety prior to operation on shift.
• Store raw materials in designated bins; label pallets clearly.
• Maintain equipment and clean production lines and filters.
• Arrange empty pallets and coordinate with shipping on disposition.
• Load scrap plastic for transport; keep loading lines with materials.
• Troubleshoot machinery to fix issues.
