Job summary

Avery Dennison in Ohio is seeking a Material Handler to keep production lines running smoothly by moving raw materials, operating warehouse equipment, and managing inventory. This full-time role requires attention to detail and a safety-first mindset on a 12-hour night shift from 7 PM to 7 AM.

Starting rate is $22.47/hr plus a $2/hr shift differential for nights. Candidates should possess a High School Diploma or GED (or 3+ years manufacturing) and forklift certification, with proficiency in

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED OR 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
Forklift operator experience or certification.
Basic computer skills with the ability to learn MES/Oracle inventory tracking.
Strong adaptability, resilience, and a safety-first mindset.
Ability to work a 12-hour continuous schedule and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

Supply Production: Pull bulk rolls using FIFO to supply finishing and coating lines on schedule.
Equipment & Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load/unload trailers, move material racks, and stage goods.
Inventory Management: Perform accurate inventory transactions in MES/Oracle to maintain stock integrity.
Team Collaboration & Housekeeping: Work with cross-functional operators, support 5S, keep walkways and emergency exits clear.
