Job summary

Leggett & Platt is seeking a Master Technician for its bedding components operations in the United States. You will maintain production equipment, set up machines, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on production lines overnight.

The role requires reading drawings, performing preventive maintenance, following safety procedures, and cross-training across departments. This is an overnight 11pm–7am shift with general supervision.

Qualifications

• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and perform basic math.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic problems on production machines.
• Proficiency with maintenance tools and welding equipment.
• EOJT training completed as required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain product specifications and monitor quality.
• Set up machines and perform changeovers.
• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks daily to monthly.
• Follow 6S and safety procedures; report unsafe conditions.
• Cross-train in other departments as needed.
