Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Maintenance A – Mechanical & Electrical on the 2nd shift (3p-11p, Mon-Fri) to perform a wide range of maintenance on complex equipment and its controls. The role involves diagnosing malfunctions, repairing and rebuilding components, and ensuring safe operation across hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.

Candidates should have two+ years of maintenance experience, read complex drawings, and be capable of working with up to 480V.

Qualifications

• Ability to work 2nd Shift (3-11pm) with training on 1st shift.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, alter, install, repair or rearrange complex equipment and related controls.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform corrections with minimal supervision.
• Service and repair systems such as hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical components.
• Operate moving equipment like forklifts and cranes for installation and repair work.
• Adhere to safety regulations and document maintenance activities.
• Coordinate re-start of equipment with trained operators after repairs.
