Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Maintenance Technician who will perform preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance on production equipment including CNC machines, pumps, and control systems. The role requires reading schematics and manuals, wiring and calibration work, and shift flexibility.

This position is based in the United States at Metem, a GE Power business, with comprehensive benefits and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or trade school in a technical field with 3+ years maintenance experience in manufacturing
• OR high school diploma/GED with 5+ years maintenance experience in manufacturing
• Ability to work 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) or 3rd shift (10pm-6am) as required

Responsibilities

• Perform predictive, preventative, corrective and routine maintenance on production equipment
• Repair, maintain and troubleshoot CNC machines
• Repair, assemble and install electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic systems
• Calibrate process control equipment and instrumentation
• Rebuild, install, and make field repairs on centrifugal and diaphragm pumps
• Maintain motor starters, variable frequency drives, and servo controls
• Install piping, conduit, and raceway systems
• Perform facilities and building maintenance
• Document work activities using CMM
