Job summary

Essex Solutions USA LLC in Fort Wayne, Indiana, seeks a Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing operations on the night shift (6 days on, 2 days off; 11pm–7am). The role focuses on waste prevention, standard adherence, and direct supervision of the production workforce.

You will partner with the Manufacturing Manager to optimize processes, drive safety, and manage changes while mentoring a team across service groups. This position requires strong communication and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• Two years of direct supervision in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with computer operations and data tracking (MS Office).
• ISO 9001 / IATF experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Allocate resources to minimize downtime and ensure timely completion of activities.
• Oversee safety practices in line with company policies.
• Provide training, guidance and coaching to employees.
• Communicate shift activity and equipment/process changes to staff.
• Monitor production performance and quality using boards and metrics.
• Address employee conduct or performance issues in line with HR policies.
