Job summary

Web Industries Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Operator I for night shift in Fort Wayne, IN. This position runs on a 2/2/3 rotation, 12-hour shifts from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., with a 20% shift premium. Starting pay ranges from $18.50 to $20.00 per hour, with full-time direct labor status.

Responsibilities include setting up machines, reading work orders, training other associates, and maintaining safety and quality documentation on the production floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1-2 years manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to read and understand complex work instructions.
• Basic computer, math, and Microsoft Office skills.
• Team oriented.
• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up machine to machine specifications and best practices to meet production specifications.
• Responsible to convert the correct materials to work order specifications.
• Responsible for execution of trials and recording of results as needed.
• Train Manufacturing Associates using the passport program.
• Continually work towards passport program Manufacturing Operator completion.
• Packages material in accordance with appropriate work order.
• Operates Fork Lift.
