Job summary

Web Industries in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Manufacturing Operator I for nights on a 2/2/3 rotation (12-hour shifts 6pm–6am) with a 20% shift premium. You will set up machines, load materials, run production lines, and ensure output meets specifications.

Responsibilities include training associates on the passport program, recording results, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the line.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to read and understand complex work instructions.
• Basic computer, math, and Microsoft Office skills.
• Team oriented.
• Ability to lift 50-75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set-up machine to specifications and best practices to meet production specifications.
• Convert materials to work order specifications.
• Record results of trials as needed.
• Ensure quality documents are complete and legible.
• Train Manufacturing Associates using the passport program.
• Maintain passport program completion.
• Package material according to work order.
• Operate Fork Lift.
