Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Manager, Manufacturing for a 12-hour PM shift (6:00pm - 6:30am) at our New Albany, Ohio site. You will lead a manufacturing area in an Inspection and Packaging facility, ensuring full cGMP compliance and supervising staff to meet production schedules.

The role requires strong leadership, deep regulatory knowledge, and collaboration with QA, Regulatory, and other teams to drive continuous improvement and safe, quality manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Experience directly managing people and leading teams, projects, or programs in pharma/biotech.
• Experience ensuring cGMP and CFR compliance in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to coordinate with QA, Regulatory, and other cross-functional groups.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead all aspects of a manufacturing production area or section in an Inspection and Packaging facility with a focus on cGMP compliance.
• Supervise, hire, and develop staff; ensure production schedules are met.
• Coordinate development and revision of SOPs and change control procedures; interact with regulators as needed.
