Job summary

Silfex Inc., A Lam Research Company, Eaton, OH, seeks a Manufacturing Manager for the night shift to lead production, ensure on-time delivery, and drive continuous improvement. You will coach line personnel, collaborate with engineering and maintenance, and apply Lean/Six Sigma to achieve performance targets while controlling costs.

The role requires 4–6 years of supervisory experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and a strong background in lean manufacturing and production planning.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of supervisory experience in engineering or production management.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience.
• Knowledge of factory processes including engineering/technical support, production planning.

Responsibilities

• Coach production floor employees to achieve key performance metrics.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and maintenance to minimize scrap and downtime.
• Direct and optimize production areas to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Manage cross-training to increase workforce flexibility and proficiency.
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma and Theory of Constraints.
