Job summary

International’s Huntsville Powertrain Plant is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor to lead first shift operations. This role is not just about running production, it’s about owning a business, developing people, and building a culture where problems are surfaced and solved the right way.

You will be responsible for a defined area of the operation with clear ownership for safety, quality, delivery, and cost, while leading a team of Team Leaders and operators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of manufacturing experience, or Master's with 1+ year, or 5+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to lead hourly teams and develop Team Leaders.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Safety first and risk identification on the floor.
• Quality at the source to prevent defects.
• Deliver reliable production to meet plan.
• Control costs related to labor, materials, and equipment.
• Coach on-floor presence and lead teams to better performance.
• Own area end-to-end with clear accountability.
• Develop Team Leaders and standard work.
