Job summary

Shoals Technologies Group in Muscle Shoals, AL is seeking a Floor Manager to oversee overnight manufacturing operations (approx. 4:30 PM–2:30 AM).

You will be the senior on-site leader, ensuring safe, efficient, and continuous production during night hours while maintaining safety, quality, and employee engagement. You will supervise night shift supervisors and hourly staff, coordinate with maintenance, and drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing or industrial operations experience.
• Prior supervisory or lead experience.
• Ability to work overnight shifts in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of safety, quality, and production systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required.
• Prolonged standing and walking during long shifts.
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead night shift manufacturing operations for extended hours.
• Ensure production plans are executed and labor efficiency maintained.
• Identify downtime, equipment issues, and material shortages in real time.
• Provide shift summaries and handoffs to day shift.
• Maintain safety, quality, and employee engagement.
