J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. is seeking a Manager Trainee to support the management of a driver count and non-traditional shifts, including nights and weekends, ensuring safe, timely freight movement and strong customer service.

You will train to ensure DOT compliance, oversee driver conduct with internal and external contacts, and assist with planning, routing, and reporting to optimize fleet operations and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Transportation/Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field OR High School Diploma/GED with 1 year of experience in management, transportation/logistics, business administration, account management, or related field, and/or equivalent military experience.
• Ability to work across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends if needed.
• Willingness to regionally relocate dependent on account assignment.
• Experience managing a team is preferred.
• Ability to adapt to changing environments.
• Ability to maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

Responsabilités

• Learn to build and maintain positive professional relationships with drivers and carriers.
• Fill in for absent personnel and on special projects related to optimizing fleet operations.
• Learn to utilize personnel management including training and orientation of drivers and employees.
• Analyze and present customer-specific reporting and financial analysis.
• Manage yard and maintenance coordination for account equipment.
