Job summary

Altria is seeking a Maintenance Unit Leader (Supervisors) for the Richmond, VA center on a 11pm-7am shift. You’ll lead teams, manage staffing, and drive maintenance to meet production and quality objectives.

Requirements include an Associate degree or a state apprenticeship with leadership experience, or 5 years in a manufacturing leadership role. Competitive salary range provided; benefits and career development available.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or four-year apprenticeship with 3+ years of leadership experience.
• In lieu of education, 5 years of manufacturing or leadership experience.
• Experience in electrical maintenance within manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead resources and staffing to meet production and project goals.
• Develop teams and individuals; coach, mentor and recognize performance.
• Coordinate maintenance activities to meet schedules and quality goals.
• Monitor measures linking unit performance to factory objectives.
• Share information to drive problem solving and process improvements.
• Foster consensus for resource needs and decisions with peers.
