GlobalFoundries is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Malta Fab 8 site. You will monitor, sustain, and improve equipment and processes, coordinating with production teams and engineers.

The role requires reading schematics, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, and communicating updates clearly. The position emphasizes safe operation, adherence to EHS&S policies, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with strict PPE and cleanroom requirements.

Formación

• Travel requirements: Minimal
• Language: English (Written & Verbal)
• Cleanroom environment experience as per semiconductor protocol/requirements
• Able to lift equipment/tools over 50 lbs with two-person lift
• Shift flexibility: 3–4 days alternating day/night shifts

Responsabilidades

• Follow detailed procedures to complete tasks
• Maintain safety and comply with FAB8 EHS&S policies
• Work independently and with teams in fast-paced setting
• Participate in training activities as needed
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment
• Monitor equipment to ensure manufacturing readiness
• Record end-of-shift pass-downs and communicate status to Leads/Engineers
• Prioritize and plan daily work effectively
