Job summary

Producers Rice is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Flour Mill in Stuttgart, AR. The role focuses on maintaining instrumentation and PLCs across plant equipment, with ongoing training in PLC programming and ladder logic. You will perform electromechanical troubleshooting and ensure compliance with safety and GMP standards while supporting a 11:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years electrical or industrial automation experience.
Associate degree, state-recognized apprenticeship/license, or combination of education and work experience.
Detail oriented, self-directed with customer-service mindset.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must interpret advanced drawings and electrical schematics with technical skill.
Must be able to stand, bend, lift up to 75 lbs and climb as needed.

Responsibilities

Maintain instrumentation and PLCs on plant equipment.
Attend training and stay current on industry standards; learn programming language as time permits.
Perform electromechanical troubleshooting and repair of plant equipment per safety and GMP rules.
