Job summary

Producers Rice Mill is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to service instrumentation and PLCs on plant equipment. You will interpret schematics, perform ladder logic basics, and install or repair automated systems and switchgear. Training is provided to stay current on industry standards.

The role emphasizes electromechanical troubleshooting, adherence to safety and GMP rules, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team, with a schedule involving nights and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years electrical or industrial automation experience.
• Associate degree or state-recognized apprenticeship/license or combination of education and work experience.
• Detail oriented with customer-service mindset.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to interpret complex drawings and schematics with technical skill.

Responsibilities

• Maintain instrumentation and PLCs on plant equipment.
• Plan, lay out, install and repair complex equipment incl. automatic/robotic controls.
• Attend training to stay current on industry standards; learn programming when possible.
• Conduct electromechanical troubleshooting and repair of plant equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and follow Safety and GMP rules.
