Job summary

Producers Rice in Stuttgart, Arkansas, is seeking a Quality Assurance Tech for the flour mill. This safety-sensitive role schedules Monday–Friday with potential overtime, including weekends and holidays.

The candidate will conduct sampling and testing on in-process and finished production, perform quality checks on packaging lines, verify lot codes and weights, and take corrective actions when needed. Strong housekeeping and sanitation oversight is required.

Qualifications

• Must perform accurate fraction and decimal calculations.
• Must read/write/speak English fluently to a wide variety of stakeholders.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must follow HACCP procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sampling and testing on in-process and finished production to assure QA procedures are followed.
• Perform quality check on packaging lines and verify lot codes, labels, and weights.
• Identify and communicate major quality problems in production and warehouse facilities.
• Educate plant personnel on housekeeping and sanitation and ensure procedures are followed.
• Maintain paperwork for hold products and sanitation records; verify HACCP compliance.
