Job summary

ADVICS Manufacturing Ohio, Inc. is seeking Maintenance/PLC Technicians to repair and maintain factory equipment in Lebanon, Ohio.

The role involves wiring, testing, diagnosing, and adjusting a range of machinery including robots and plating systems, with emphasis on preventive maintenance and continuous improvement. The position requires three to five years of related experience and/ or training, and knowledge of PLC/CNC programming, electrical circuits, and testing tools.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of related experience and/or training.
• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.
• Working knowledge of PLC and CNC programming and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic circuits and related test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance of manufacturing machinery including machine tools, robots, plating plants, and assembly equipment.
• Recognize, troubleshoot, and repair equipment operating problems.
• Dismantle devices (electrical/mechanical) to locate and repair/replace defective parts.
• Inspect parts (used and new) to determine dimensional characteristics.
• Adjust functional parts of devices, equipment, and control instruments.
• Start devices/equipment to test their performance and performs machine adjustments.
• Perform basic preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Participates in improvement activities.
