Job summary

Continental in Norfolk, Nebraska, is seeking Maintenance Technicians with Electro-Mechanical or related degrees or 5+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience. You will install, modify, maintain and repair plant machinery, equipment, facilities, and structures.

The role requires night shift availability and offers a 12-hour schedule with a $3 shift differential and every other weekend. Strong problem-solving, PLC/diode knowledge and lean manufacturing familiarity are valued.

Qualifications

• A 2 year Electro Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or related degree OR minimum 5 years Industrial Maintenance experience.
• Willing to work night shift.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; no visa sponsorship.
• Relocation expenses are not provided.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair and maintain mechanical, electrical and manufacturing equipment.
• Set up and operate machining tools such as engine lathe, milling machine, drill press and grinders; construct/repair tooling.
• Maintain plant plumbing, heating, cooling, and related facilities and equipment.
• Read and understand electrical diagrams and blueprints; knowledge of PLCs and electronic/mechanical systems.
• Apply lean manufacturing tools; support a fast-paced, priority-changing environment.
