Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation is seeking a maintenance technician at its Ohio facility to perform preventative, predictive, and repair maintenance on production equipment and facility systems. The role may require installation or relocation of equipment and working various shifts, including overtime when needed.

The ideal candidate will have experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical systems, and welding, and be comfortable using work orders on a computer. Safety adherence is essential.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years’ experience preferred.
• Siemens CNC and/or PLC automation background preferred.
• Proficient with welding equipment: acetylene torch, stick, MIG wire.
• Proficient in hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Proficient with using a computer for work orders.
• Rigging and lifting knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, predictive, and repair maintenance on production equipment, facility equipment, buildings, and grounds using appropriate documents/tools.
• Assist in installation or relocation of equipment.
• Be able to work any shift, weekends, shutdowns, and overtime when needed.
• May perform other reasonable manufacturing duties as assigned.
• Adhere to all safety rules.
