Job summary

AmbaFlex Manufacturing in Canton, OH is seeking a maintenance technician for the day shift (Mon-Thu 5:00am–3:30pm) to perform routine and preventative maintenance on conveyors, robotics, and manufacturing equipment. You will program PLCs, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, read blueprints, and coach operators on trouble shooting.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, reads technical drawings, is computer literate, and holds forklift and lifting certifications, with

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience as a mechanic in a production setting preferred.
• Ability to read technical specifications and drawings.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow written processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and conduct preventative maintenance.
• Work with conveyors, automated and robotics systems.
• Repair or replace defective mechanical and electrical parts.
• Program PLCs and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Coach machine operators on troubleshooting techniques.
