Job summary

Ultipro is seeking a Plant Maintenance Mechanic for the night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) to ensure reliable operation of production machinery and equipment. The role involves preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and rapid response to equipment issues within a fast-paced plant environment.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of related experience. Heavy mechanical work, safety, and teamwork are essential components of the job.

Qualifications

• GED or High School diploma required with relevant experience.
• One year of job-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Located and troubleshot mechanical malfunctions using precision instruments.
• Dismantles devices to replace defective parts using hoists, cranes and hand tools.
• Assesses dimensional changes using calipers and micrometers.
• Adjusts devices and control instruments with hand tools and levels.
• Monitors preventive maintenance and downtimes with production teams.
• Fabricates repair parts with machine shop equipment.
• Maintains inventories of equipment, parts and supplies.
• Documents actions and communicates irregularities to the team.
• Keeps technical knowledge current through workshops and publications.
