Job summary

Zeeland Farm Services Ithaca is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the night shift in Ithaca, MI. The role focuses on maintaining, repairing, and replacing plant equipment to maximize production and ensure quality.

The position is Sunday-Thursday, 5:00 PM to 3:00 AM, with on-call duties during preventive maintenance shutdowns. Compensation is hourly with a $1.50 night shift premium and eligible for monthly phone reimbursement.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; trade-related certificate preferred.
Experience in maintenance in a process manufacturing setting preferred.
Ability to work night shift and be on-call.

Responsibilities

Participates in the established maintenance plan and ensures equipment operates within quality standards.
Repairs or replaces plant equipment or systems on scheduled or emergency basis; assists with troubleshooting.
Performs preventative maintenance activities as required.
Coordinates maintenance and repair work with Operations.
Assists with new installations and other projects as directed by supervisor.
Maintains a clean, safe workstation and complies with all safety requirements.
