Job summary

Graham Packaging Company seeks a Maintenance Technician - Shift Mechanic for the Night Shift in Houston, TX (6 PM–6:30 AM). You’ll install, service and repair production equipment, perform preventative maintenance and support plant reliability. Strong safety focus and teamwork are essential.

Preferred is an Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance with 5+ years of experience, and the ability to communicate clearly with managers and operators. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Two year Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field preferred.
• Minimum of five years Industrial Maintenance Technician experience preferred.
• Must interact effectively with managers, employees, vendors and customers.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, health, quality GMP policies and company procedures.
• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on production equipment and building.
• Install and maintain production machines and plant facilities.
• Diagnose problems, replace parts, test and adjust.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs and scheduled maintenance.
