Job summary

SanMar in Ashland, VA is seeking a Facilities II, Autostore technician to perform general maintenance and repairs in our DC environment. Qualifications

• 1–3 years of facility maintenance experience.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Experience operating warehouse equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance or carpentry, minor repairs, and routine painting.
• Assist with preventive maintenance procedures on building mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis; inspect belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, grease bearings, seals, etc.
• Relocate, move, and adjust furniture as needed.
• Respond promptly to management and internal inquiries regarding facility operations.
• Maintain repair and maintenance logs and ensure compliance with safety policies.
