Job summary

SanMar-Internal is seeking a Facilities II, Autostore team member to perform general maintenance, carpentry, and preventive tasks in a DC environment. The role supports daily operations and requires attention to safety, pipelines, and documentation.

The position involves rotating shifts, including evenings, with a starting hourly rate of $23.50 and potential for weekend OT. Applicants should have 1–3 years of facility maintenance experience and be able to work independently or in a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of facility maintenance experience.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely.
• Experience with basic carpentry and preventive maintenance.
• Comfort operating warehouse equipment and lifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance, carpentry, minor repairs and painting.
• Assist preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment, inspect belts, replace filters and lubricate components.
• Relocate and adjust furniture; maintain repair logs.
• Respond to facility issues promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with laws, OSHA guidelines, and HazMat records.
• Coordinate with outsourced building services and support teams.
• Overtime may be required, including weekends.
