Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our City of Industry, CA facility on a 3rd shift (10:00pm–6:00am). The role involves proactive maintenance of packaging production equipment to ensure smooth operations and quality.

You will perform machine setup, repairs, preventive maintenance, and electrical/hydraulic troubleshooting on packaging lines, using hand tools, meters, and forklifts. Candidates should have 4+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience and be eligible to work in the

Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years in a maintenance/technician role in a manufacturing environment.
Electrical training/experience with 480V 3-phase/machine controls.
Experience with VFD drives and PLCs preferred.
Background with manufacturing methods and process improvement programs and procedures.
Able to work overtime as required.
Eligible to work in the United States.
Forklift operation experience.
Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Commitment to safety and continuous development.
Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screen.

Responsibilities

Conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance service
Provides emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs
Performs mechanical, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines
Performs electrical troubleshooting and repair on various equipment and building maintenance
Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
Will use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
Safely operate and repair forklift
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
