Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the City of Industry, CA location. This role focuses on proactive maintenance of production machinery to ensure quality and uptime, including setup, troubleshooting, and repairs across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

The position offers evening shift hours (3rd shift) with overtime as needed and requires at least 4 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, including electrical controls and PLC/VFD familiarity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a maintenance mechanic/technician role in a manufacturing environment.
• Electrical training/experience with 480 3 phases/machine controls.
• Experience with VFD Drives and PLCs preferred.
• Proven ability to perform mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Eligible to work in the United States and able to pass pre-employment checks.
• Willing to work overtime as required.
• Ability multitask in a fast-paced environment and stay safety conscious.
• Experience operating forklift equipment.

Responsibilities

• Conducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance service.
• Provides emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Prepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runs.
• Performs mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.
• Performs electrical troubleshooting and repair on various equipment and building maintenance.
• Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
• Will use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
• Safely operate and repair forklift.
