Job summary

Novolex is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the night shift (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) on a 2-2-3 schedule to support packaging operations. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical wiring and electronic controllers on packaging equipment, tear down and replace defective components, perform preventive maintenance, and read blueprints and layouts.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in manufacturing maintenance, experience with injection molding or extrusion is a plus, a high school diploma, own tools,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems and machinery.
• Must have own tools; company will provide additional specialty tools if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical wiring and electronic controllers.
• Tear down; replace defective component units and parts such as bearings, motors, servo motors, PLCs, gears, electronic drives, clutches, brakes, belts, chains and electrical parts.
• Perform all preventive maintenance checks, as required.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and layouts.
• Repair equipment to meet productivity improvements and waste reduction requirements.
• Continuously monitor equipment and communicate to supervision all equipment problems or concerns.
• Follow safety rules and keep work area clean and orderly.
