Job summary

Altium Packaging in Corona, California is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform repairs, preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, blow mold equipment, and facility systems on a 8-hour, 3rd shift.

The role requires basic math and computer skills, knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics, and attention to detail; preferred candidates have 2+ years in manufacturing maintenance, a HS diploma, and OSHA forklift certification. Overtime may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and applicable laws and regulations.
• Install, adjust and repair blow mold, trimmers, palletizer and related equipment.
• Perform mold, neck tooling changes, pin and other equipment changes.
• Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses.
• Inspect, rebuild and replace valves and pumps.
• Perform preventive maintenance on related equipment.
• Maintain machines in optimal processing condition.
• Weld, fabricate, and repair various machines.
• Troubleshoot and locate root problems on blow mold, baggers and support equipment.
• May operate blow mold or injection machines.
• Communicate with other departments regularly.
• Duties may differentiate by plant based on equipment/design.
• Receive instructions from Lead Technician or Supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Overtime may be required due to business needs.
