Job summary

Kobelco Aluminum Products and Extrusions is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 12-hour night shift in Bowling Green, KY. You will perform maintenance on production equipment, read schematics, and ensure adherence to safety and EPA/OSHA rules.

The role requires multi-skilled industrial maintenance experience, with a focus on electrical and mechanical repairs, PLC controls preferred. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, repairs during production, and training teammates.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED plus 3–5 years of multi-skilled industrial maintenance experience.
Skilled in electrical and mechanical repairs, hydraulics/pneumatics; PLC controls preferred.

Responsibilities

Install and troubleshoot electrical motors, motor controls up to 480V.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during production and perform scheduled maintenance during machine service.
Read and interpret electrical and other mechanical diagrams.
Run conduit and troubleshoot network cable (CAT 5).
Log and track inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
Diagnose production equipment problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust.
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facility.
Use hand and power tools, electric meters, aerial lifts, and material handling equipment.
